Content statuses show where your Business Profile, Product Listing, Travel Deal or translation is in the review and publishing process.
Draft means your content has been started but has not been submitted for review. Draft content is not visible to visitors.
Finish the required fields and submit the content for approval when it is ready.
Submitted or in review means your content has been sent to Tourism New Zealand for review. You do not need to submit it again unless you are asked to make changes.
Wait for the review outcome.
Published means your content has been approved. Approved Product Listings can appear on newzealand.com , subject to website display rules, category, location and other visibility settings. Keep the content accurate and current.
Unpublished means the content is not currently visible to visitors. You may need to review, edit or resubmit it depending on why it was unpublished.
Open the content and review any available message or feedback.
Declined or Changes Required
Declined or changes required means the content has been reviewed and needs changes before it can be approved. It is not visible to visitors.
Open the content, review the moderator feedback, make the required changes and resubmit it for review.
Applies to deals only and refers to a deal whose End Date has passed
Common reasons include:
- Missing or inaccurate information
- An unclear or incomplete description
- An incorrect business, listing or deal type
- Unsuitable or low-quality images
- Broad or unsupported claims
- An incorrect location, category or tag
- Broken or indirect website and booking links
- Content that does not meet eligibility requirements or the Tourism Business Database terms and conditions
After you resubmit, Tourism New Zealand will review the updated content. It will not be published until it is approved.
