Multi-Day & Package Tour and Transport Product Listings can include more than one location. The multi-location feature works differently for each listing type:
Multi-Day & Package Tours: Add the main places included in the itinerary. These locations are displayed on the map attached to the Product Listing.
Transport: Add the branches or service locations where visitors can access the transport product. Each location creates a location-specific version of the Product Listing with its own contact information.
Only add locations that are relevant to the product described in the listing.
Should I add multiple locations?
Use multiple locations when:
A tour includes several meaningful destinations
A transport business operates from several physical branches
Visitors need different contact or location information for each transport branch
Do not use multiple locations to:
Add nearby attractions that are not part of the product
Target extra destination pages
Add every minor stop on a tour
Represent several different products in one listing
If each location offers a substantially different product, create separate Product Listings instead.
Multi-Day & Package Tours (Tours)
Use multiple locations to show the main destinations included in the tour or itinerary.Add locations that help visitors understand where the tour travels. These may include:
the starting location
major destinations included in the itinerary
overnight destinations
the finishing location, if different from the start
Do not add every short stop, route marker or nearby attraction. Only include locations that are a meaningful part of the product.
The locations will appear on the map attached to the Product Listing on newzealand.com.

Transport Product Listings (Transport)
Use multiple locations when the same transport product is available from more than one branch or service location.
For example, a rental vehicle company may have branches in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Each location creates a separate location-specific version of the Product Listing. Each version can have its own location, amenities and contact information.
This helps visitors find the product on relevant destination pages and contact the correct branch. Only add a location if visitors can access, collect or use the transport service there.

Name Transport locations clearly
Use a consistent format that identifies both the business and branch. For example:
Southern Rentals - Auckland Airport
Southern Rentals - Wellington City
Southern Rentals - Christchurch Airport
Do not use vague location names such as:
Main Branch
Airport
City Office
Location 1
Use a strong image of the actual product or service as the main image. Do not rely on a logo to distinguish one location from another.
Check the information for each Transport location
Check that each location has accurate:
Branch name
Address and map position
Phone number
Website or booking link
If the same booking page is used across all branches, make sure visitors can easily select the correct location after opening it.
Before submitting your Product Listing
Check that:
Every location is genuinely part of the product
Location names are clear and consistent
Addresses and map markers are accurate
Location-specific contact details are current
Website and booking links work
Discontinued branches have been removed
Tour locations reflect the main itinerary
You have not added locations simply to appear on more destination pages
When you are ready, continue through the form and submit your Product Listing for approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question
Answer
Can I add multiple locations to every Product Listing type?
No. Multiple locations are available for Multi-Day & Package Tour and Transport Product Listings. For other listing types, enter the main visitor-facing location for the specific product or experience.
How many tour locations should I add?
Add the main destinations that help visitors understand the itinerary. Do not add every short stop or nearby attraction. Each location should be a meaningful part of the product described in the listing.
Should I add every stop included in my tour?
No. Add the main destinations, overnight locations or important points in the itinerary. Do not add brief stops, route markers or locations that are not a meaningful part of the visitor experience.
Does each Transport location create a separate Product Listing?
Each Transport location creates a location-specific version of the Product Listing. This allows each version to have its own location, amenities and contact information while remaining connected to the main transport product.
Should I add pickup points as separate locations?
Add a pickup point only if visitors can regularly access or join the product there and the location is useful when choosing or booking the service. Do not add temporary, informal or request-only pickup points.
What should I do if two locations offer different products?
Create separate Product Listings when the products, services, pricing or visitor experience are substantially different. Use multiple locations when the same core product is available across several branches or destinations.
How should I name a Transport location?
Use a consistent name that identifies both the business and branch, such as “Southern Rentals - Auckland Airport”. Avoid vague names such as “Main Branch”, “Airport” or “Location 1”.
Can different Transport locations have different contact details?
Yes. Enter the details that apply to each location so visitors can contact the correct branch. Check that the address, phone number, opening information and booking link are accurate.
What happens if I remove a Transport location?
Removing a location means its location-specific version may no longer appear to visitors. Before removing it, check whether the location is still operating and whether any linked content needs to be updated.
Why is my Product Listing not appearing on a destination page?
Check that the Product Listing is published, the correct location has been added and the map marker is accurate. Also check that its listing type and tags are correct and allow time for approved changes to appear.
Can I add locations to appear on more destination pages?
Only add locations that are genuinely relevant to the product. Do not add unrelated locations simply to increase visibility. Inaccurate locations can mislead visitors and may prevent the Product Listing from being approved.
Can I edit my locations later?
Yes. Use Edit to update a location or Remove to delete one that is no longer relevant. Submit your changes for approval when required.
