Understand your visitors
Tourism New Zealand’s research and data can help you understand who is visiting New Zealand, what travellers are looking for and how visitor behaviour is changing.
Use these insights when deciding:
Which visitor groups your product is best suited to
What information to include in your Product Listing
Which practical questions visitors may have
How to describe your offer clearly
Which markets you can realistically support
When to review translated content or market-specific offers
Search for approved New Zealand images, video footage, campaign resources and industry toolkits. Check the licence and usage conditions for each asset before downloading or publishing it. Visual Library content should not be presented as imagery operators can automatically use in their Product Listings.
Only upload images to the Tourism Business Database if they accurately represent your own product and you have permission to publish them. General destination imagery may be useful for wider marketing, but it should not replace accurate images of the actual product or experience in your Product Listing.
Qualmark is New Zealand tourism’s official quality assurance organisation.
A current Qualmark award helps visitors identify independently assessed tourism products. On newzealand.com, Product Listing results are sorted by Qualmark award by default.
